Misfit Magazine Issue 42 has been released with two of my poems and a review of my last book!

MISFIT Issue 42 was published this week and it is editor Alan Catlin’s final issue as he’s finally going to retire. He insisted in going out with a bang, as the issue is packed with badass stuff and includes many great contributors such as Tony Gloeggler, David Chorlton, Damon Hubbs, Juliet Cook, Jeffrey Zable, Charles Rammelkamp, Cathy Porter, Kevin Ridgeway and many more. It also has two of my poems and a really nice, unique review of my most recent book, SURVIVING IMMORTALITY AGAIN (Alien Buddha Press, 2025), by Catlin, who I recall getting published alongside all these years dating back to at least 1990, if not before. I’m sharing one of the poems in this post, titled “no safety in madness — don’t pretend you’re a writer.” The few times I ever write anything like this, it usually earns a few likes, some new fans and some new people who hate my guts. Hahaha!

You can find my Misfit 42 page here while the book reviews (including mine) are here, and you can go to the new Summer 2026 issue of Misfit here.
