I Have a Story in the new TINY REVOLUTIONS Anthology!

Those of you familiar with some of my typical stories in the noir and horror realms might not be expecting the flash story I have appearing in the new Tiny Revolutions: A Flash Fiction Anthology, released less than two weeks ago by Fresh Words, which has really been upping its game this year. Anyone who grew up playing instruments and spending time in band will be able to relate.

You can read “We’re a Brass Family, Son – Forever” for free on a non-downloadable epub if you don’t want to order a copy of the book. Feel free to leave a comment here if you do. The story is a bit different for me so I’ll be interested to see what people may say.

Thanks, and I’ve actually got stuff coming out in a few more anthologies both in the near future and before the year is out, so I’ll post more soon. (Sorry for the posting dearth, but I’ve got a shithole of stuff going on I’m trying to manage and that limits my time and opportunity for things like this at the present.)

Cheers!

Thanks! Strict 300 word limit. It took hours to edit it down from 600. Hahaha!

Even though I’ve published about 100 micro and flash fiction stories over the past 3 years, I never get over feeling like most are too simplistic — the cutting has to be harsh. Some have felt more natural but it’s my biggest weakness in the area, I think. Any tips??? :)))
