Fixator Press Publishes “The Blood Soaks Into the Dust in Minutes”

Thank you to Fixator Press for publishing one of my protest poems this past week. This is “The Blood Soaks Into the Dust in Minutes.” I’ve been writing and publishing protest, political, social justice, pissed off poems for over 35 years and as for those I’ve been writing the past couple of years, I like it and I hope some of you will find it engaging but this is probably the mildest one I’ve written because I don’t know if it’s possible for things to be more fucked up and for me to be more pissed off than with practically everything going on in the world these days. Violence begets violence, stupidity is entrenched everywhere and I can’t help but feel like nearly any other species couldn’t fuck things up worse than humanity has — maybe it’s time to hand things over to some fur or even vegetation. Joking? I find little funny these days. This poem is a small nod to utter insanity and the endless loop of victims. What’s it going to take to stop the damn madness? (My guess is an exploding universe, but maybe that’s a bit cynical…)
