Satirical Story “Hannah’s Cupboard (or Charlie Kristos, King of the Gods)” published by The Scalar Comet

My new satirical short story “Hannah’s Cupboard (or Charlie Kristos, King of the Gods)” was published yesterday by The Scalar Comet, a very funny humor-centric publication and I just wanted to both post about it (with a link to the original) and thank the fine editors at The Scalar Comet. I’ve come to really enjoy the stuff they publish and feel happy to be a part of their ecosystem now.

Feel free to let me know what you think about some of my recent fiction efforts because if you’ve been with me or read me for any time you may have noticed some recent departures from my usual comfort zones, whether style, subject, tone, etc. My last story (“Was Mother Dancing Dubious Dances?”) was virtually all dialogue, or about 180 degrees from my norm. This story is intended to be over-the-top humor, also a departure from much of my more traditional crime, noir, thriller, horror stories. Does it work for you? I expect to be posting another very soon which will also be a bit different, so any of you who do, did or will read my fiction may appreciate more diversity. Or not? Lemme know. As always, thanks for your support and here’s to a great weekend for us all.

Cheers, Scott
