My Amazing Men’s Watches On Pinterest

Posted by Scott Holstad on March 26, 2012

How many of you are on Pinterest these days? While I admit that it’s largely female-dominated, there do seem to be more and more men using the site. For those of you who don’t know, it’s basically a giant pin board for you to clip pics and pin them for others to see — parts of your life, or what you want your life to be, in picture form online. You can also see what other people are pinning. I like it. My Pinterest board can be found here. I have 12 boards, including ones for musicians, favorite movies, favorite places, places I want to go visit sometime, favorite books, etc. But my one board I love the most is called Amazing Men’s Watches, and you can find it here. I’ve pinned 136 men’s watches so far. I know — who knew there were so many? The thing that’s proving to be interesting, though, is a lot of people seem to be digging this board. So far, I’ve gotten 53 followers of the board and people are “re-pinning” many of the watch pics on their own boards. I can’t believe how it’s taken off! I pin different watches, in terms of price and style, although I admit a fondness for the chronograph. I’ve pinned a $74 Fossil and a Franck Muller Aeternitas Mega 4 with a list price of $2,700,000 and everything in between. Honestly, if you like men’s watches, you need to check this out. I guess one of the reasons I like watches so much (and why I have about 10) is that they’re one of the few accessories men can have (the other being ties). I like the diversity, the look and feel, the class, the artistry, the enjoyment of good watches. And I like Pinterest. Maybe you should wander over there and start your own pin board.
