This book is an excellent collection of essays on four important twentieth-century poets and writers stemming from the longtime relationships AD Winans enjoyed with them. The writers are Alvah Bessie, Bob Kaufman, Jack Micheline and Charles Bukowski.It's a must-read for anyone interested in Bukowski and the Beats, the Hollywood 10 and more.
