I’m still recovering from several recent surgeries and in fact, things have been going poorly, are very challenging. Complications from one emergency surgery may be leading places I don’t want to go but have little choice. I haven’t been able to write, post, email, do much of anything and that can be difficult so I thought I’d try to post a few newish pics of me, us, our cat, a few books, etc., to share our putting our best face forward with you and remind ourselves in the process that there’s still much to be thankful for, despite this being the national and global year from hell in almost every other way.
